ShugoArts is a contemporary art gallery that introduces distinctive currents of Japanese and Asian Art since the 1980s both domestically and internationally. Our artists include, but are not limited to, Masaya Chiba, Yukio Fujimoto, Masato Kobayashi, Lee Kit, Naofumi Maruyama, Yasumasa Morimura, and Shigeo Toya, who seek their own ways of expression. During this year’s Roppongi Art Night, we will present Leiko Ikemura’s long-awaited solo exhibition titled, After Another World. The artist has been living and working in Berlin since the 1990s, and we are thrilled to hold her solo exhibition for the first time in almost three years. The gallery’s interior was designed by the architect Jun Aoki.
