In commemoration of its 10th anniversary, The National Art Center, Tokyo (NACT), will show a video installation from one of the world's most active visual artist, Takagi Masakatsu. His works over the years to present day will be projected in omnibus format onto the large inverted concrete-cone in the NACT lobby. Please come along to enjoy the synergy between this wonderful installation and Kisho Kurokawa’s stunning concrete architecture.
ARTISTS
Masakatsu Takagi
Musician/Visual Artist
Born in 1979 in Kyoto, now lives in Hyogo Prefecture.
His works consist in both his music pieces for piano, and his characteristic animations like “moving-paintings traveling the world”.
Not only he has created music for "The Boy and The Beast" and "Wolf Children" directed by Mamoru Hosoda, but has also collaborated many times in the production of music for advertising.
