Taka Ishii Gallery opened in 1994 with an exhibition program devoted to exploring the conceptual foundations and implications of contemporary (photo) graphic practice. The gallery has since exhibited and published the work of contemporary master Japanese and foreign artists and supported the development of younger artists. In June 2015, the gallery inaugurated an exhibition space in New York, a third gallery in addition to two gallery spaces in Tokyo.
During the Roppongi Art Night period, Nobuyoshi Araki exhibition will be held.
