Michinori Maru has created site-specific drawings and large wall paintings over the course of many travels. For this event, he will create a live painting in the middle of the city of Roppongi.
ARTISTS
Michinori Maru
Born in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture in 1978, he graduated from the Oil Painting Course, Faculty of Art and Design, Tama Art University in 2002, and now lives in Kanagawa and Tokushima prefectures. Among the exhibition in which he has participated in recent years are BCTION (Kojimachi New Building/ 2014) and “Seeds of Memory” (Langgeng Art Foundation, Jakarta, 2017). He has made signs and graphics for the Zushi Beach Film Festival and in 2017 published the lettering book “Chalk and Design.”
