Esther Stocker employs an optically complex spectrum of geometric sign and grid systems. These systems are kept exclusively in the colors black-gray-white. In her pursuit of “free forms,” she creates sculpture and installations that deliberately subverts our perception and disorientates our senses so that we are released from what we know of physics and can accept new sensory experience.
