The “Cheer for Art! Tokyo Project” is the first program of its kind in Japan to provide support to professional artists and cultural practitioners, in order to keep the flame of culture alive in the midst the COVID-19 pandemic. The project streams videos by artists and professionals who cannot help but continue to create, providing support for their activities while facilitating the chance to bring countless people in touch with art.
In the “Cheer for Art! Plaza,” the artists selected by the project’s “art club” will engage in live painting in Roppongi West Park. We hope you’ll enjoy their real-time performances and artworks. We will also display works by 3 other artists who are participating in the “Cheer for Art! Tokyo Project.”
