For this event, MeimageDance is to perform a special version of “New Paradise of Silent Island” (premiered in 2017), illustrating the encounter between Western and Eastern cultures in Taiwan. Blending brightness and darkness, obscenity, Taiwanese cosplay culture, and different cultures all mixed in, the work altogether creates a unique atmosphere. With these Taiwanese and the foreign cultural symbols, MeimageDance takes you on a colorful and beautiful journey of reinterpreting Taiwanese tradition.
