The left and right canopies leading to Hills West Walk will be connected with pink ropes, creating an installation in the night sky. The pink represents the "warmth of people," and the installation, made up of countless crossing ropes, represents the city's people, culture, economy, etc. mixing and influencing each other and spreading across the world.

ARTISTS

Hajime Kinoko

Artist Hajime Kinoko creates work along the themes of “connection” and “tying, not binding.” As a rope artist, he ties together small, delicate objects such as flowers and huge objects such as buildings, even moving beyond objects to work with spatial environments. Among his past works, he has created giant human-shaped forms and jungle gyms using only rope, changing his approach from time to time as he strings together various objects. He has many fans overseas, and has given performances and workshops in more than 30 major cities, including New York.
