This radio project was launched from “Sono Aida #TOKYO MIDTOWN AWARD”, an art studio for past winners of the TOKYO MIDTOWN AWARD, and will be broadcast during the prime times of Roppongi Art Night. The exact location of each day’s broadcast will be a surprise to look forward to. The project will also be broadcast on Instagram @donut_sand_station.

ARTISTS

Miya Kaneko

Miya Kaneko completed her doctoral studies at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tama Art University in 2017. Rooted in the idea of “human memory as a fundamental building block of urban development,” she has been presenting works that explore themes of cities based on people's memories.

Masaki Yamaguchi

Masaki Yamaguchi lives and works in Tokyo, Japan. He completed his studies in the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tama Art University in 2003, and since then, he has been interested in expanding the concept of sculpture. While traversing different genres and materials, he continues to create works with the aim of cultivating new values.
