This work attempts to invert the mundane routine of “placing things on a shelf”.
By hanging a board diagonally on a shelf with the convenience of variable height, we make it into something that is not a shelf. The work rejects the usual use of shelves, and explores "interesting forms" that emerge when things lose their convenience and meaning.
The objects to be placed are created in an attempt to “imagine what would happen if the things around us were unearthed as fossils in the future”. “Interesting forms” are created by changing their shapes through weathering and being hit by rain, as well as through changes in people's knowledge and ideas over time.
