A crowd of people will wear glowing flower-shaped innertube floats and parade from the National Art Center, Tokyo through Tokyo Midtown and to Roppongi Hills. The LED lights on the floats will change color as the participants walk, led by performers and music, until they reach the finale at Roppongi Hills Arena. This is a one-night-only parade that transforms the bustling nightscape of the city into a fantastic spectacle.

ARTISTS
Kyota Takahashi
Kyota Takahashi was born in Kyoto in 1970, where he continues to reside. He graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts, Graduate School of Fine Arts, majoring in sculpture. He has been involved in a wide range of activities within Japan and abroad, from installations in public spaces to performances using light and video. He has played an instrumental role in large-scale projects combining illumination and architecture, such as the 100th anniversary lighting of Tokyo Station and the Towada Art Center, as well as participatory art projects such as Shining Smile Fruits and Flower Fields of Light that were created together with many people.
