Ring is an installation in which a laser illuminates a large transparent circle. The laser light reflects off the circle and diffuses into the space. The circle and the light symbolize perfection and imperfection, and the passage of time, akin to the waxing and waning of the moon. The artist uses elements of optics, color, and geometry to create a new perception for the audience to contemplate the cycles of place and time.
