When searching the word" ID photo" in the top-ranked languages spoken in the world in 2023 on Google's image search form, these faces on portraits appeared. Then selected from the hit images and painted a series of pointillistic portraits. In the image search in each language, exemplary figures of the region where the language is spoken, gender, lookism, etc. are intertwined in various ways and displayed. When we question, "Who are you?" to the strangers in paintings, we are at the same time illuminating our subconscious thoughts and, realizing we are asking ourselves "What exactly am I seeing?"By following the small square colored surfaces one by one with our eyes, we can deconstruct ourselves and feel their contours, and thus regain our own bodies.
