Delivery Dancer’s Arc: 0º Receiver (2024), one of two sequels to Kim’s Delivery Dancer’s Sphere (2022), follows the multi-dimensional journey of young female courier drivers in a techno-futuristic Seoul—and beyond. No longer ordinary couriers, Ernst Mo and En Storm now transport something far more abstract and fundamental: “time” itself. As they traverse various calendar systems and astronomical technologies, they become entangled in networks of space and time that contradict and collide with one another.

Ayoung Kim
Born in 1979, Seoul-based artist Ayoung Kim utilizes a mix of CGI, live-action footage and video game engines to tell stories referred to as “speculative fiction.” It fuses geopolitics, mythology, technology, and futuristic iconography, with the artist commenting on present society through the speculative future. Kim won the Golden Nica in the New Animation Art category at Prix Ars Electronica in 2023, and the LG Guggenheim Award at Guggenheim Museum in 2025.
