Since ancient times, people have depicted inexplicable phenomena and emotions in the form of yokai, or supernatural creatures. These beings were both objects of fear and projections of the imagination, speaking to a cultural practice of giving form to nameless, voiceless things. In this work, various yokai are summoned from the eerie atmosphere lurking in Roppongi’s night. Visitors can roam the space freely, confronting the yokai while uncovering the trigger for the next ritual. Eventually, all the yokai gather together, unleashing a performance where fear, laughter, anxiety, and eros swirl in a blur of fantasy and reality. Tonight, you will encounter the “invisible others” lurking in the modern world…
