Detail
“Isshu Mawaru” is a game in which she walks around carrying a case containing her sculptural work, Aibō (Companion), on her back. When she finds a place that catches her attention, she takes Aibō out and makes one full circle.
The rules are simple: start from a chosen point and return to that same point. That is all. Aibō has a single wheel, and she pushes it along using the handle attached to its back. As she changes its materials and form, the series continues to grow; this is the sixth iteration. With an Aibō that matches the glittering night of Roppongi, she shares a little spin of joy.
