Detail
Window of Tomorrow is a spectacular work that uses the ever-changing sky as its stage. Created for Roppongi Art Night—returning as an all-night art festival after a three-year hiatus—, this work unfolds a narrativenarative and an immersive experience throughout the night, set against the backdrop of the Roppongi Hills night sky and the Rose Garden. The performance Moon, taking place at the turn of the day, features AOITUKI, while the sunrise performance Sun features ATSUSHI. At other times, the site offers a unique spatial experience—a one-night-only installation that frames the night sky. Through the Window to Tomorrow, visitors glimpse the seamless transitions between yesterday, today, and tomorrow, as well as the fluid, gradational nature of our own sensibilities as they resonate with the changing natural world.
